The heads of Mexico’s largest real estate investment trust, Fibra Uno, dropped $17.9 million on another condo at Sunny Isles Beach’s Estates at Acqualina.
Records show Daniel Shiff sold unit TS-4205 at 17901 Collins Avenue to Estatemann South LLC, a Florida entity managed by Moises and Andre El-Mann Arazi.
Ryan Mendell with Maxwell E Realty had the listing, and Yansy Checa with Douglas Elliman brought the buyer.
Moises El-Mann Arazi is chairman of Fibra Uno, and Andre El-Mann Arazi is CEO of the REIT. Founded in 2010 and based in Mexico City, Fibra Uno specializes in acquisition, development and operation of properties in the logistics and lighting manufacturing sectors, according to Forbes. It has $20.4 billion in assets, the publication reported.
Shiff is co-CEO of Shiff Group, a Miami-based investment firm he runs with his brother, Zvi Shiff. The firm’s investments span the health care, beverage, crypto and real estate industries in the U.S., United Kingdom, Israel and Russia. They are the landlords to the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem, according to their website.
Daniel Shiff bought the unit for $10 million in 2023, property records show. It spans 7,700 square feet, with six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and one half-bathroom, and has a lap pool, plunge pool and theater, records and the listing show.
Estates at Acqualina is a two-tower development with a 49-story, 154-unit south tower, a
52-story, 94-unit north tower, and a 45,000-square-foot amenities space with a bowling alley, ice skating rink and movie theater. The late Karl Lagerfeld designed the lobbies. Jules and Eddie Trump’s Trump Group started construction on the $1.8 billion project in 2018, and closings began in 2022. The Trumps have no relation to President Donald Trump.
Moises and Andre El-Mann Arazi are hardly first time buyers in the complex. In September, they bought a condo for $20 million. In 2023, they flipped a unit for $13.1 million.
In 2022, basketball legend LeBron James bought a unit in the complex for $9 million. More recently, in March a trust bought a 9,100-square-foot Estates at Acqualina condo for $25 million.
