Broward County’s condo sales and dollar volume rose in the last week of May.
Brokers closed 127 condo sales totaling $43.4 million from May 23 to May 31. The previous week, brokers closed 89 condo sales totaling $25.6 million.
Last week’s units sold for an average of $341,962, higher than the $287,503 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot rose to $266 from $250, according to data from Redfin.
For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $800,000 to $2.5 million.
Unit 2703 at Ocean Palms, at 3101 South Ocean Drive in Hollywood, took the top spot with a $2.5 million closing. The sale closed at $721 per square foot after 127 days on market.
Joel Lusky and Zalmy Shapiro with the Brokerage South Florida Real Estate had the listing, and Eva Bouhadana with Beachfront Realty brought the buyer.
Unit 3302 at Las Olas River House, at 333 Las Olas Way in Fort Lauderdale, closed for the second highest amount, $2.2 million, or $807 per square foot after 118 days on market.
Bobbi Ocean with Galleria International Realty had the listing, and Jessie Stier with Compass represented the buyer.
