Beating the heat: Palm Beach County weekly condo sales surge to $239M



It was a busy week for brokers in Palm Beach County’s condo market, with sales and dollar volume soaring. 

All but one of the top 10 closings this week were units at Alina Residences in Boca Raton. Brokers closed 155 condo sales totaling $239 million from June 14 to June 22. The previous week, brokers closed 92 condo sales totaling $55 million.

Last week’s units sold for an average of $1,542,036, higher than the $598,087 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot rose to $624 from $353, according to data from Redfin.

For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $3.9 million to $9.6 million. 

Unit 903 at Alina Residences, at 220 Southeast Mizner Boulevard in Boca Raton, took the top spot with a $9.6 million closing. The sale closed at $1,791 per square foot after one day on the market.

Rochelle LeCavalier with Douglas Elliman had the listing, and Alejandro Salazar, also with Elliman, brought the buyer.

Unit 724 at Alina Residences closed for the second highest amount, $7.3 million, or $1,723 per square foot after one day on the market. 

LeCavalier and Kathy Koch Pitlake with Douglas Elliman had the listing. Kelley Clancy with William Raveis Real Estate brought the buyer.
