Miami-Dade County’s condo sales and dollar volume surged in the third week of June, bucking the market’s traditionally slower summer pace. 

Brokers closed 135 condo sales totaling $122 million from June 13 to June 21. The previous week, brokers closed 89 condo sales totaling $67.7 million. 

Last week’s units sold for an average of $903,964, higher than the $760,808 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot rose to $580 from $547, according to data from Redfin.

For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $2.1 million to $14.6 million. 

Unit 1404 at Apogee, at 800 South Pointe Drive in Miami Beach, took the top spot with a $14.6 million closing. The sale closed at $3,914 per square foot after 125 days on market.

Gabriela Dajer and Alina De La Vega with One Sotheby’s International Realty had the listing. Jill Hertzberg with Coldwell Banker Realty brought the buyer.

Unit 4411 at Harborview, at 4411 Fisher Island Drive in Miami Beach, closed for the second highest amount, $7 million, or $2,177 per square foot after 79 days on market.

Karla Abaunza and Jorge Escasena with Luxury Living Realty had the listing. Haydar Alchalaby and Michael Martirena with Compass represented the buyer.
