Palm Beach County saw an uptick in signed contracts for luxury homes last week.
Buyers signed 12 contracts between June 16 and June 22 for luxury properties in Palm Beach County, according to a market report authored by Douglas Elliman’s Eklund-Gomes team. Last week’s contracts reached $73.6 million in asking volume, and averaged 89 days on market. That’s up from nine signed contracts totaling $51.4 million in asking volume the previous week.
The report tracks listings of single-family homes and condos asking $3 million and up that are included in the Beaches MLS.
The report identified 27 new listings, and 1,102 total active listings on the market.
Of the properties that went into contract last week, 11 were single-family homes and one was a condo.
The condo that found a buyer is asking $3.5 million, or $832 per square foot, and spent 65 days on the market.
The single-family homes totaled $70.1 million in asking volume and averaged $1,453 per square foot. They spent an average of 113 days on the market.
The most expensive home to go under contract was the 3,300-square-foot house at 260 North Woods Road in Palm Beach, asking $12.9 million. Records show the seller is 260N Property Limited Partnership, a Canadian entity that bought the house for $6.3 million in 2020. Built in 1977 on 0.3 acres, the house has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, one half-bathroom and a pool, according to property records.
It hit the market in November, according to Zillow. Jim McCann and David Scaff with Premier Estate Properties have the listing.
The second priciest listing to find a buyer was the mansion at 15327 Persimmon Avenue near Delray Beach, asking $10 million. Records show the sellers are developers Yosi and Guy Gil, who built the home as part of their planned 20-single-family home project, Modern Garden Estates. They completed the nearly 9,200-square-foot mansion earlier this year, according to the listing. It has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, two half-bathrooms and a pool.
It went under contract the same day the property listed, Zillow shows. Chad Carroll and Miguel Rodriguez with Compass have the listing.
