Travis Kelce is renting a house in Boca Raton’s most expensive neighborhood

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is renting a mansion in Boca Raton’s most expensive neighborhood for off-season training.

Kelce was seen moving into the home in Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club, the Daily Mail first reported. The community is a 15-minute drive to Johnny O’s Gym, the Boca Raton gym where Kelce is known to train during the National Football League’s off-season.

The waterfront mansion is on East Alexander Boulevard, a coveted address in Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club. The 8,300-square-foot house was built on 0.3-acres in 2020 by SRD Building, the firm led by brothers Steve and Scott Dingle. They have a prolific track record of building Royal Palm’s pricey homes.

The mansion has six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, two half-bathrooms, a pool and a dock, according to property records. It last sold in 2023 for $15 million, and the seller was Cumberland Farms scion Byron Haseotes Jr. The current owner is unknown, obscured by a trust.

Boca Raton’s luxury real estate market has ballooned in recent years, much like the rest of South Florida, and Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club is a magnet for the city’s ultra-luxury buyers. It spans 450 acres and has fewer than 700 homes. Royal Palm also has a private club by the same name with a marina and a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course. The community also has 24/7 armed security, a particular benefit for high-profile residents such as Kelce.

Heightened demand for Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club’s mansions has sent prices soaring. Last year, Randy Parker, founder of email marketing giant Constant Contact, sold his family’s longtime waterfront estate in the community for a record $36 million. It was considered a teardown, and the buyers were the Dingle brothers, who plan to develop a luxury spec project on the 1.7 acres.

Another Dingle-built spec mansion, just four doors down from where Kelce is staying, sold for $28.5 million in July. Records show the buyers were Richard and Diane Templer.

Kelce, who has won three Super Bowls and played in the NFL for 13 seasons, is also famously dating billionaire megastar Taylor Swift. Although she has a song titled “Florida!!!” it is unclear whether Swift owns any properties in the Sunshine State. As of 2023, her real estate portfolio spanned four states and was worth an estimated $150 million.
