Movers & Shakers: Cushman retail veterans jump to Newmark



In the latest roundup of South Florida real estate hiring news, Newmark bulked up its retail leasing leadership. 

In Miami, two retail leasing veterans jumped from Cushman & Wakefield to Newmark, according to a press release. Greg Masin and Frank Begrowicz joined Newmark as executive managing directors, focusing on retail in the Miami Design District, Coconut Grove, South Beach and Wynwood, the release shows. 

Masin started at Cushman in 1997, and Begrowicz has been with Compass since 2010, according to LinkedIn. They have worked with brands like Supreme, Fendi, Alain Ducasse and Zara, the release shows. 

Brown Harris Stevens (BHS) brought in three new agents in its Miami area offices, according to a press release. Nicole Lombrozo and Ernest Poblacion joined the brokerage in its office at Continuum in Miami Beach. Lombrozo comes from Avanti Way Realty, where she worked for four months after a three-month stint with Compass, LinkedIn shows. 

Ricardo Chen joined BHS in its South Miami office. He comes to the firm from Dream Life Realty, where he started his agent career in 2023, LinkedIn shows.

Douglas Elliman landed a new agent in its Biscayne Boulevard office, according to a press release. Rick Chen joins the brokerage from One Sotheby’s International Realty. He started at Sotheby’s in Minnesota in 2021, and splits his time between Minneapolis and Miami. 

In Sunny Isles Beach, Acqualina Resort & Residences on the Beach tapped Jeff Giasson as vice president and general manager of the resort, according to a press release. He was previously regional vice president of Estates at Acqualina and Mansions at Acqualina.
