In the latest roundup of South Florida real estate hiring news, brokerages made key leadership changes.
Brown Harris Stevens tapped David Deza as managing director for its Miami offices, including those in Miami Beach, Coconut Grove and South Miami, according to a press release. Deza joins the brokerage from Keller Williams Realty, where he headed offices in Coral Gables and Coconut Grove, LinkedIn shows. In his new role, Deza will lead recruitment, business development, and productivity coaching for the Miami offices, the release shows.
In other brokerage news, Christina Pappas is taking over as president of Illustrated Properties, according to a press release. Illustrated is part of the Keyes Companies, Pappas’ family-owned brokerage. She has been president of Keyes since 2023. She’s stepping in as president of Illustrated following the departure of Daniel Dennis, who joined the firm in 2022 as its president. Dennis jumped to Re/Max, where he is now senior vice president of sales and service, according to LinkedIn.
In West Palm Beach, Lindsey Alexander joined Atlantic Retail as vice president, according to LinkedIn. Atlantic Retail is a commercial brokerage headquartered in Boston with a growing business in South Florida. Alexander was previously a vice president with Fimiani Development in Boca Raton for 12 years.
