Broward County’s condo sales and dollar volume dropped last week, with the average sale price falling as well.
Brokers closed 115 condo sales totaling $37.5 million from May 4 to May 11. The previous week, brokers closed 188 condo sales totaling $73.7 million.
Last week’s units sold for an average of $325,860, lower than the $391,807 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot fell to $273 from $300, according to data from Redfin.
For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $775,000 to $2.3 million.
Unit 300 at Maison Blanc, at 1760 East Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, took the top spot with a $2.3 million closing. The sale closed at $592 per square foot after 89 days on market.
Charles Falkanger with Compass had the listing, and Elaine Tatum with Douglas Elliman brought the buyer.
Unit 1604 at Point of Americas, at 2200 South Ocean Lane in Fort Lauderdale, closed for the second highest amount, $1.6 million, or $796 per square foot after 80 days on market.
Elizabeth Caldwell and Rebecca Baughman with Compass had the listing. Elvira Santamaria with Beckett Realty Advisors represented the buyer.
