Movers & Shakers: Elliman names Kellen Porter Florida COO

Douglas Elliman named Kellen Porter chief operating officer for Florida, according to a company announcement. Porter joins Elliman from Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty in San Diego, where he was vice president and manager for four years, his LinkedIn shows. In his new role, Porter will focus on business growth, recruitment and strategy.

Fort Lauderdale-based construction firm Moss tapped Ravi Ravishankar as its chief technology officer and senior vice president, a press release shows. Ravishankar will head the firm’s innovation strategy for solar operations, the release shows.

He joins Moss from St. Petersburg-based electronics manufacturing firm Jabil, where he worked for eight years, most recently as a vice president, according to LinkedIn.

In Miami, JLL brought in Sean Black as senior managing director and Tyler de la Peña as senior vice president, according to a press release. Black was previously the founder and CEO of New York City-based BLACKre for eight years. Prior to starting his own firm, he was an executive director of global brokerage at Cushman & Wakefield and an executive vice president at WeWork. He also competed in the 1996 Olympics as a lightweight boxer for team Jamaica, according to LinkedIn.

De la Peña joins JLL from Colliers, where he worked for nearly six years, most recently as a vice president, according to LinkedIn. Both Black and de la Peña will focus on tenant representation in their new roles, the release shows.

3650 Capital, a real estate investment firm headquartered in Miami, tapped Eric Kraft as a managing director, according to a press release. Kraft will be based in Los Angeles and report to Michael Fleischer, the firm’s head of real estate credit solutions and deputy chief investment officer. His role will focus on all varieties of investment strategies, working across markets and asset types, the release shows.
