Authorities are investigating a possible fatal shooting that took place Sunday evening at a bar in the Redland area, in Southwest Miami-Dade.

The incident happened at a bar on 18401 SW 256th St. According to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue (MDFR), emergency crews responded to reports of a shooting at the location. Upon arrival, officials found three victims.

A bar employee told CBS News Miami that patrons were enjoying themselves when a man became upset, walked out to his car, grabbed a gun, and shot a bar regular and an employee. Friends of the shooter restrained him until police arrived, the employee said.

CBS News Miami is working to confirm as two of the victims may have been pronounced dead at the scene; one person was airlifted to Jackson South Medical Center as a trauma alert. The suspect, whose identity has not yet been released, was arrested.

Details surrounding the circumstances of the shooting remain unclear, and authorities have not confirmed whether the incident stemmed from a dispute inside the bar. The Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office is leading the investigation.
