Broward County’s condo sales and dollar volume rose last week.
Brokers closed 118 condo sales totaling $50.1 million from Jan. 26 to Feb. 2. The previous week, brokers closed 89 condo sales totaling $26.3 million.
Last week’s units sold for an average of $424,236, higher than the $295,086 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot rose to $288 from $264, according to data from Redfin.
For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $1.1 million to $4 million.
Unit 25A at the Palms, at 2110 North Ocean Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, took the top spot with a $4 million closing. The sale closed at $973 per square foot after 364 days on market.
Nicola Higgins with Douglas Elliman had the listing, and Juan Acevedo with One Sotheby’s International Realty brought the buyer.
Unit 16A at 2000 Ocean, at 2000 South Ocean Drive in Hallandale Beach, closed for the second highest amount, $2.7 million, or $935 per square foot after 141 days on market.
Devin Kay with Douglas Elliman had the listing, and Ryan Mendell with Maxwelle Real Estate represented the buyer.
