Broward County’s condo sales and dollar volume dropped in the second week of February.
Brokers closed 51 condo sales totaling $31.9 million from Feb. 10 to Feb. 17. The previous week, brokers closed 104 condo sales totaling $35.4 million.
Last week’s units sold for an average of $625,196, higher than the $340,736 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot rose to $428 from $270, according to data from Redfin.
For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $632,500 to $5.8 million.
Unit 1501 at Four Seasons Hotel and Residences Fort Lauderdale, at 525 North Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, took the top spot with a $5.8 million closing. The sale closed at $2,233 per square foot after 104 days on market.
Daniel Teixeira and Enrique Teixeira with Douglas Elliman had the listing. Daniel Teixeira also represented the buyer.
Unit 1809 at L’Hermitage, at 3200 North Ocean Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, closed for the second highest amount, $3.2 million, or $1,125 per square foot after 168 days on market.
