Resi roundup: Developers buy, sell South Florida luxury homes



In the latest roundup of South Florida luxury residential sales, developers bought and sold homes across the region.

Deals spanned Lighthouse Point to Palm Beach Gardens, and ranged in price from $9 million to $12 million.

Lighthouse Point

In Lighthouse Point, a developer from Georgia sold a waterfront home for $9 million.

Records show David G. Jenkins sold the house at 2550 Northeast 31 Court to Edward Fletcher Jr. and Deana Fletcher from Springfield, Tennessee. 

Jenkins heads Rocklyn Homes in Suwanee, Georgia. The firm builds single-family communities in Georgia and Florida. He bought the Lighthouse Point house for $6.4 million in 2020, property records show. It was built in 2019 on 0.4 acres, and spans 6,000 square feet, with six bedrooms, six bathrooms, one half-bathroom, a pool and 243 feet of waterfront, according to records and the listing.

He listed it for $9.9 million in July, Redfin shows.

Jennifer Hink of the Keyes Company had the listing, and Roman Pavlik of Keller Williams brought the buyers.

Boca Raton

In Boca Raton’s gated Royal Palm Yacht & Country Club, a couple with ties to Scottsdale, Arizona sold a home for $9.9 million.

Records show Nick and Kelley Williams sold the house at 170 Royal Palm Way to Morris Silverman.

The Williamses bought the home for $7 million in 2021, according to property records. It was built on 0.4 acres in 2020, and spans 7,200 square feet, five bedrooms, five bathrooms, two half-bathrooms and a pool. 

The couple first listed the house for $15 million in 2022, and dropped the price four times before selling for a $5.1 million discount off the original asking price. 

David Roberts of Royal Palm Properties had the listing, and Nicole Bentz with Florida Luxurious Properties brought the buyer.

Palm Beach Gardens

In Palm Beach Gardens, developer Myron “Mosie” Miller bought a waterfront house for $12 million.

Records show Miller’s JGCBRW Real Estate LLC, a Florida entity, bought the home at 2270 Wilsee Road from Ryan and Alana Deasy.

Miller is a developer and frequent investor in luxury single-family homes in Palm Beach County. In 2023, he sold an oceanfront Palm Beach estate for $68.1 million and sold a non-waterfront spec mansion in Palm Beach Gardens to BET co-founder Bob Johnson for $20 million. His father, Robert Miller, owns the Jupiter Pointe Marina and heads MLR Management LLC in Tequesta. 

The Deasys bought the Wilsee Road home for $8.1 million in 2022, records show. The 7,000-square-foot house was built in 1996 on a 1-acre property with 180 feet of waterfront, according to records and the listing.

The couple listed it for $16.9 million in February, and reduced the price twice before selling for a $4.9 million discount off the original asking price.

Brandon Solomon of Douglas Elliman had the listing, and Vince Marotta of Illustrated Properties brought the buyer.
