The latest roundup of South Florida real estate hiring news highlights firms tapping new leadership across the tri-county region.
Coral Gables-based Codina Partners promoted Luis Castellon to executive vice president of development, according to a press release. In his new role, Castellon will oversee all aspects of development across Codina’s portfolio. He joined the firm as a vice president in 2017, following 10 years as a vice president with Related Group.
Miami-based Eagle Property Capital brought in Barry Chase as a partner and managing principal, a release shows. As managing principal, Chase will lead strategy and execution, develop institutional relationships, participate in the investment committee, mentor senior management and work to enhance investment policies and procedures. Prior to Eagle Property Capital, Chase was with Belay Investment Group in Los Angeles, where he was most recently executive chairman, LinkedIn shows.
In 2023, Eagle Property Capital and Promecap raised $309 million for an investment fund targeting multifamily properties in the Sun Belt.
In West Palm Beach, Township Capital hired Alex O’Brien as vice president of asset management, according to a press release. O’Brien joins the firm from Realogic Analytics in Chicago, where he was a senior financial analyst, his LinkedIn shows.
In July, Township hired Jonathan Sparacio as director of finance.
Broward, Palm Beaches & St. Lucie Realtors, the third-largest realtor association in the U.S., tapped Jonathan Lickstein as its president for 2025, according to a press release. Lickstein is chief operating officer of LoKation Real Estate in Pompano Beach and is charged with steering initiatives for member engagement and education, the release shows.
Boca Raton-based law firm Weiss Law brought in real estate attorney Shara Pipitone as senior counsel, according to a press release. Pipitone was previously senior counsel with DarrowEverett in its Miami office, LinkedIn shows.
