Palm Beach County’s condo sales and dollar volume rose in the first week of the year.
Brokers closed 95 condo sales totaling $61 million from Dec. 30 to Jan. 6. The previous week, brokers closed 66 condo sales totaling $33.5 million.
Last week’s units sold for an average of $641,448, higher than the $507,248 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot rose to $390 from $331, according to data from Redfin.
For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $1.5 million to $5.9 million.
Penthouse B in Four Hundred South Ocean, at 400 South Ocean Boulevard in Palm Beach, took the top spot with a $5.9 million closing. The sale closed at $2,934 per square foot after 22 days on market.
Christian Angle with Christian Angle Real Estate had the listing, and Crista Ryan with Tina Fanjul Associates brought the buyer.
Unit 501 in Luxuria, at 2500 South Ocean Boulevard in Boca Raton, closed for the second highest amount, $5.7 million, or $1,277 per square foot after 415 days on market.
Scot Karp and Michael Wells with Premier Estate Properties had the listing, and Rochelle LeCavalier of Douglas Elliman represented the buyer.
