Broward County’s condo sales and dollar volume rose in the first week of December, despite a drop in average prices.
Brokers closed 154 condo sales totaling $58.4 million from Dec. 2 to Dec. 9. The previous week, brokers closed 83 condo sales totaling $32.3 million.
Last week’s units sold for an average of $379,013, lower than the $388,858 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot dropped to $287 from $301, according to data from Redfin.
For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $700,000 to $5.7 million.
Unit 2810 at L’Hermitage at 3100 North Ocean Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale took the top spot with a $5.7 million closing. The sale equated to $1,220 per square foot after 195 days on market.
Deborah Ginsburg of Nest Seekers had the listing, and Victor Attias with Galt Ocean Realty brought the buyer.
PH-S at Casa Murano at 141 West Isle of Venice Drive in Fort Lauderdale sold for the second highest amount, $3.8 million. It sold for $1,206 per square foot after 153 days on the market.
Ruchel Coetzee of Douglas Elliman had the listing, and Tyler Tuchow with Fortune Christie’s International Real Estate brought the buyer.
