Miami-Dade police investigate report of human head on Key Biscayne beach

MIAMI – Miami-Dade police are investigating a report that a human head washed up on Key Biscayne beach on Tuesday morning, according to CBS Miami news partner the Miami Herald.

Officers arrived at 251 Crandon Boulevard, a portion of the beach behind the Key Colony II Ocean Sound condominium, around 8:40 a.m. to check on the report, according to the Herald.

A section of the beach was cordoned off with yellow police tape. Miami-Dade homicide detectives are involved in the investigation.
