Porsche Design Tower closing tops Miami-Dade weekly condo sales


Miami-Dade County’s condo sales and total dollar volume slid during the Labor Day holiday week.

Brokers closed 90 condo sales totaling $53.3 million from Sept. 1st to Sept. 8th. The previous week, brokers closed 154 condo sales totaling $107 million.

Last week’s units sold for an average of $592,142, lower than the $693,754 average price from the previous week. The average price per square foot fell to $475 from $480, according to data from Redfin for on-market sales.

For the top 10 sales, prices ranged from $950,000 to $4.75 million. 

Unit 3503 at Porsche Design Tower, at 18555 Collins Avenue in Sunny Isles Beach, took the top spot with a $4.75 million closing, which breaks down to $1,255 per square foot. Ronit Perez with Suma Luxury Realty had the listing, and Jennifer Thomson with Coldwell Banker Realty represented the buyer.

Unit 303 at Ritz-Carlton Residences, Miami Beach, at 4701 North Meridian Avenue in Miami Beach, closed for the second highest amount, $4.3 million, or $1,655 per square foot. Ronit Perez with Suma Luxury Realty had the listing, and Jelena Khurana with Corcoran represented the buyer.

Last week also saw an off-market sale close for a princely sum. French DJ David Guetta sold his Setai condo in Miami Beach for $16 million. Michael Wisenfeld with Corcoran represented Guetta. Eloy Carmenate, Mick Duchon and Joshua Winarick represented the buyer. The sale broke down to a whopping $6,337 per square foot.
