MIAMI – A man has been taken into custody in a residential area of Miami Beach after allegedly pointing a rifle outside a condo unit on Friday afternoon.
The call to police came in at around 4 p.m. near 1200 West Avenue.
CBS News Miami’s Nikiya Carrero said several neighbors had called police about the incident.
Police have not identified the man, but did say there is no further threat to the public.
Images from Chopper 4 showed heavy police presence, including at least one SWAT team.
The investigation continues.
