In the latest roundup of South Florida real estate hiring news, commercial firms added and promoted personnel across the tri-county region.
Colliers hired Zach Feldman as a senior vice president in Boca Raton, according to a press release. Feldman specializes in retail leasing, and joins the firm from Katz & Associates, where he was a senior director for six months, LinkedIn shows. He was previously a leasing representative with Konover South for seven years.
The move adds to a string of hires Colliers brought into South Florida last year.
With Feldman’s departure, Katz & Associates brought in Karen Maerovitz as a senior director, a press release shows. Maerovitz worked as a director of leasing and sales at Katz & Associates from 2018 to 2022, before leaving for the Comras Company in Miami Beach, where she worked as a director for two years, according to LinkedIn.
In her new role, she will focus on tenant and landlord representation and business development throughout South Florida, the release shows.

Marcus & Millichap promoted six people in its Miami and Fort Lauderdale offices, according to a press release. Alex Zylberglait is now an executive managing director, and Drew A. Kristol, Kirk D. Olson and Scott C. Sandelin are now senior managing directors in the Miami office. Felipe Echarte and Robert S. Hunter are now senior managing directors in the Fort Lauderdale office.
