Famed New York restaurant Pastis, a Parisian-style brasserie, will open at the mixed-use Nora District in downtown West Palm Beach.
Stephen Starr’s Starr Restaurants leased 13,300 square feet of indoor and outdoor space on the ground-floor at the planned Nora Hotel, according to a news release from Nora District’s developers. The restaurant will open in 2026.
Miami-based Place Projects, West Palm Beach-based NDT Development and Greenwich, Connecticut-based Wheelock Street Capital are developing the 40-acre Nora District. It is between Palm Beach Lakes and Quadrille boulevards, and between Dixie Highway and the Florida East Coast Railway tracks. Construction of the first phase, a retrofit of warehouses along Railroad Avenue, is expected to be completed early next year.
In subsequent phases, the developers plan to preserve single-family homes and townhouses at the center of the district, and build high-rises in the north and south ends of the area.
The 201-key Nora Hotel will be developed in partnership with BD Hotels, founded by New York hotelier Richard Born, and Sean MacPherson. Starr Restaurants also will co-create the hotel’s rooftop restaurant and lounge, as well as operate the in-room dining service, according to the release.

Perigold | CityPlace | downtown West Palm Beach
Online luxury home goods retailer Perigold will open a store at CityPlace in downtown West Palm Beach, as part of its plans to establish brick-and-mortar outposts.
Perigold leased 30,000 square feet across two floors at the CityPlace mixed-use complex, where it will open in the fall of next year, according to a CityPlace news release.
Billionaire Steve Ross’ newly formed Related Ross owns CityPlace, which was developed by New York-based Related Companies in 2000. Ross last month announced plans to step back from Related Companies and carve out the firm’s Related Southeast division into a new firm, Related Ross, which he leads as chairman and CEO. Related Ross took over ownership and oversight of a sprawling real estate empire in West Palm Beach, including existing and under-construction office towers, apartment buildings and condos.
Ross, 84, remains nonexecutive chairman and the single largest shareholder at Related Companies.
Boston Proper | Boca Raton
Women’s fashion brand Boston Proper will keep its headquarters in Boca Raton.
Boston Proper renewed its 42,600-square-foot office lease at 1155 Broken Sound Parkway Northwest at The Park at Broken Sound, according to a news release from the tenant’s broker.
Scott Brenner and Derek Baker of Colliers represented the tenant. Kirk Nelson of CBRE represented the landlord.
Miami-based Adler Real Estate Partners, led by founder and managing principal Matthew Adler, owns the building.
Burlington | Miami-Dade County
Discount department store Burlington will open this fall in west Miami-Dade County.
Burlington leased space at the Westchester Shopping Center at 8508 Southwest 24th Street in an unincorporated area of the county, according to a news release from the landlord’s broker. The square footage wasn’t provided.
Paco Diaz with CBRE represented the landlord. Greg Godino and Russ Waters of Atlantic Retail represented the tenant.
Records show an affiliate of New York-based Midwood Investment & Development owns Burlington’s space.

Casa Crudo, Glowing Smiles Pediatric Dentistry, more | Hallandale Beach
Grupo Eco has landed four tenants at its Atlantic Village mixed-use development in Hallandale Beach.
Casa Crudo will open a 1,600-square-foot restaurant this month, according to an Atlantic Village news release. The office tenants that have already opened are Skin and Cancer Dermatology, which leased 3,700 square feet; Glowing Smiles Pediatric Dentistry, which leased 2,500 square feet; and Ciocca Dermatology of Hallandale, which leased 5,600 square feet.
All the tenants signed up for space at Atlantic Village’s third phase. Atlantic Village, at 601 to 801 North Federal Highway, consists of four phases with retail, offices and dining space. Hallandale Beach-based Grupo Eco, which was founded in Mexico City, developed the first three phases on the west side of Federal Highway, between Northeast Sixth Street and Atlantic Shores Boulevard. Grupo Eco and Aventura-based Apollo Companies are developing the fourth phase, a 12-story office condo building, on the east side of Federal Highway.
Daniel Chaberman of Grupo Eco represented the developer in the retail leases. Alfie Hamilton and Jonathan Kingsley of Colliers represented Grupo Eco in the office leases.
H&H Bagels | Boca Raton
H&H Bagels, a famous New York bagel shop, will open this year in Boca Raton.
The restaurant leased space at 2200 Glades Road, according to the tenant’s news release. The square footage leased wasn’t provided.
Founded in 1972 on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and led by CEO Jay Rushin, H&H is expected to open the Boca Raton outpost this year, according to its website.
Records show an affiliate of West Palm Beach-based Sterling Organization owns the building.
