MIAMI – An ATV rider led Miami-Dade law enforcement on a chase through the streets of Miami and the northwestern section of the county.
The pursuit reportedly commenced in northwest Miami-Dade, headed south as significantly as SR 836, and then looped back all over north.
Immediately after reducing in and out of site visitors on a quantity of metropolis streets, the driver got on to I-95 and headed north.
The driver stayed in the convey lanes which had been rather empty. The chase ongoing north into Broward County. The sheriff’s office was notified.
At Stirling Street, a Florida Highway Patrol trooper picked up the chase. The ATV rider exited at Stirling Road and sped west. The rider then circled again and headed toward I-95. After there, the rider got on the highway and headed northbound all over again. The ATV encountered more site visitors and slowed a little bit, the FHP trooper close at the rear of.
At one issue, the ATV rider crossed about the divider and drove north on the shoulder of the southbound lanes.
Law enforcement have not explained what prompted the pursuit.
