MARGATE – Margate Law enforcement Chief Joseph Galaska’s occupation is on the line following his individual officers gave him a no-assurance vote. 

Rod Skirvin, the head of the union symbolizing over a single hundred officers, informed commissioners in a letter that the chief requires to resign.

Skirvin statements the chief is section of “a pervasive culture of sexism and discrimination.”

Margate Mayor Tommy Ruzzano claims there is an additional facet to the story. “What I’m hearing is he are not able to give them what they want, so they want somebody who can,” stated Ruzzano.

The city fee will vote on the chief’s future at future Wednesday’s assembly.
