TAYLOR COUNTY — Recovery carries on six months immediately after Hurricane Idalia slammed into the Florida Panhandle producing about $20 billion in damages.
Residents say superior contractors are really hard to arrive by, but they are creating due and have no designs to relocate.
“If you have at any time been down here and noticed the Florida sunset,” suggests a resident whose roof and dock were being destroyed, “that’s why you remain.”
