FORT LAUDERDALE – Movie and Broadway actor Josh Gad, who grew up in Hollywood, Florida, was particularly close to his grandparents who had been Holocaust survivors.
His grandparents, Joseph and Evelyn Greenblatt, typically talked about their ordeal. Gad has been a powerful voice against antisemitism and has remarked. “Silence is not an option.”
Due to the fact his grandparents shed most kinfolk in the Holocaust, their dying wish was to be buried subsequent to Gad’s mother and stepfather who are alive.
Gad’s mom Susan Gad Schwartz and his stepfather Stanton Schwartz, who now live in Palm Seaside County purchased cemetery plots future to Gad’s grandparent’s plots at the Eternal Light-weight Memorial Gardens in Boynton Seashore.
They say they uncovered that a stranger is buried in Stanton Schwartz’s grave and understood that the plot was double sold.
“This is a pretty shut family members so remaining collectively was very crucial to them,” explained attorney Cristina Pierson.
Pierson is a civil lawyer who signifies Gad’s mom and stepfather.

The Schwartz’s are suing the cemetery in civil court docket.
Pierson says the cemetery provided an unworkable solution. “They made available to transfer Schwartz’s plot to a different place away from his spouse. That’s not acceptable,” she claimed.
