MIAMI – A Miami-Dade police officer is out of jail on bond Wednesday immediately after becoming arrested for driving under the impact though on obligation.
According to the arrest report, Victor Montalvo was driving westbound on Southwest 72nd Avenue Tuesday afternoon in an unmarked motor vehicle when he strike an occupied law enforcement auto.
Law enforcement say the parked automobile was on an off-obligation detail, blocking a lane of targeted visitors to guard road workers.
Equally officers were being hurt in the crash.
Miami-Dade Law enforcement Director Stephanie Daniels suggests the officer has been relieved of duty and the section will carry on to operate with the state attorney’s office environment throughout the judicial procedure.
Montalvo walked out of TGK on a $2,000 bond and is going through charges of DUI and causing residence damage.
