OJUS — A lady is dead just after a crash on northbound Interstate 95 in northern Miami-Dade County, briefly shutting down northbound website traffic on Sunday morning.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a purple Ford Mustang collided with a white Chevrolet SUV in the space of Ives Dairy Road on northbound I-95, prompting lane closures.
Just after the collision, the Mustang driver dropped command of the vehicle and drove off the roadway right before crashing into a metal targeted traffic signal and a tree.
The driver — recognized at this time only as a lady and the sole occupant of the Mustang — was transported to Aventura Hospital, where by she later died. FHP did not offer added details relating to the problem of the driver and attainable other occupants
FHP advised CBS News Miami that the northbound lanes have because reopened.
