MIAMI – The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a shooting on the Turnpike in southern Miami-Dade.
According to the FHP, it occurred all over 9:43 a.m.
Troopers arriving on the scene discovered a blue Ford sedan in the southbound lanes near Campbell Generate. The vehicle had a number of bullet holes in it, but there was no one particular within and no blood on the auto.
Investigators claimed that an AK-47 is likely what was used primarily based on the bullet casing they found.
Miami-Dade law enforcement are helping in the investigation. They are also checking nearby Baptist Health and fitness Homestead Healthcare facility to see if any arrived with gunshot wounds.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue was also referred to as in to help for the reason that the automobile was leaking gasoline.
The FHP claimed they been given a report from anyone in Florida Town indicating their auto also experienced bullet holes and they ended up on the Turnpike when the taking pictures took area.
