There was an added specific birthday get together in the East Bay Tuesday for a Planet War II veteran who turned 104.
Arthur Larson, who life at Brookdale Diablo Lodge in Danville, celebrated his birthday together with his wife of 72 years.
On his specific working day, Larson shared some advice for living a fantastic, very long lifestyle.
“Generally have a goal in advance of you,” he explained. “Always have anything you happen to be headed for.”
Larson served in the U.S. Military as a 2nd lieutenant from 1940 to 1946. He also earned a doctorate from UC Berkeley.
Among the his other noteworthy achievements, Larson served manage a software for bodily-challenged learners. He was also energetic in the Purple Cross.
The mayor of Danville popped by the birthday bash to give Larson a distinctive plaque.
