Important BISCAYNE — A Miami-Dade gymnastics mentor has been arrested for alleged sexual battery with his young college students on Wednesday.
The Critical Biscayne Police Section, in conjunction with Miami-Dade Police and the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Workplace, introduced the arrest of Oscar Olea. He is currently going through two counts of sexual battery and staying held at Turner Guilford Knight Jail.
In accordance to KBPD, the investigation started in September 2023 and because of that investigation, extra victims have appear forward. Following interviewing victims, investigators were ready to determine probable lead to and arrest Olea.
As the investigation carries on, KBPD is inquiring any other victims or witnesses to appear forward and talk to them.
“The Vital Biscayne Law enforcement Section stays vigilant and steadfast in preserving our community,” the agency said.
