A Florida Freeway Patrol trooper was killed Friday in a crash with a tractor-trailer whilst trying to catch a fleeing felon on I-95.
Trooper Zachary Fink was killed in St. Lucie County, officers claimed. The northbound lanes of the important north-south freeway ended up shut for several hours due to the fact of the crash.
Gov. Ron DeSantis reported on social media that “our hearts go out to” the trooper’s loved ones and the Florida Highway Patrol.
Florida Freeway Patrol officers mentioned they prepared to launch extra particulars later on Friday.
