TALLAHASSEE – A invoice that seeks to reduce motorists from cruising in remaining lanes of highways is headed to Gov. Ron DeSantis.

The Senate on Thursday voted 37- to move the monthly bill (HB 317), which would apply to drivers on highways with at the very least two lanes in the same way and speed restrictions of 65 mph or higher. The Household voted 113-3 final week to go the monthly bill.

Republican Senate sponsor Keith Perry stated the measure is intended to enhance highway protection.
