MIAMI – A body pulled from the Miami River on Tuesday is that of a lacking boater.
According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, 35-year-aged Abraham Mgowano from Berkeley, California was on a 44′ cabin cruiser with 12 other passengers and the captain previous Saturday afternoon when he fell overboard.
Officers with the FWC, Miami-Dade Law enforcement, and Miami Fire Rescue searched the area but were not able to locate him.
On Tuesday, Mgowano’s physique was found floating in close proximity to NW 2nd Avenue.
“Our thoughts are with Mr. Mgowano’s pals and loved ones through this hard time,” explained the FWC in a assertion.
