SOUTH MIAMI, FLA. (WSVN) – Athletes arrived with each other in South Miami this weekend as they well prepared to challenge cancer.
It was teaching day on Sunday morning for individuals who will be having portion in the 14th once-a-year Dolphins Challenge Cancer initiative.
The 14th yearly fundraiser, scheduled to kick off Feb. 24, will see members operating, walking or biking to elevate revenue for most cancers research and substantially extra.
Elizabeth Jenkins, chair of Dolphins Challenge Cancer, conveyed the value of the impending function.
“Bringing the group collectively and observing how most cancers has an effect on all of us — and it will impact all of us — and viewing the group pull jointly for the survivors, the people today they shed, and the people that we want to help save in the long term,” she explained.
The fundraiser has brought in $64 million considering that 2010.
