(CNN) — The Baylor women’s basketball method retired Brittney Griner’s No. 42 jersey in a pre-recreation ceremony at the Foster Pavilion, Texas, on Sunday.
Griner, who was wearing a letterman jacket, was achieved with loud cheers as she walked on to the court docket. Lovers in attendance have been all offered yellow shirts with the number 42 and a silhouette of Griner emblazoned on the front.
