New York (CNN) — Tiger Woods has broken up with Nike right after a protracted 27-year collaboration with the world’s premier sportwear organization, the golfing legend announced on Monday.
“Over 27 a long time in the past, I was fortunate to start a partnership with just one of the most iconic brand names in the environment,” Woods wrote on X.
Woods went on to write that “there will surely be yet another chapter.”
Well known Swiss sneaker brand name ON Running’s CEO Marc Maurer, addressing speculation next Woods departure at Nike, advised an audience at the ICR retailing Meeting on Monday that Woods was not signing with the brand name.
