(CBS DETROIT) – A second suspect was arrested in Florida for allegedly kidnapping a gentleman from the Life span Physical fitness in Shelby Township in Oct.
Angel Pantoja, 22, of Tampa, Florida, was arrested and billed with carjacking, conspiracy to commit carjacking, theft- armed, conspiracy to dedicate theft- armed, torture, illegal imprisonment, conspiracy to dedicate unlawful imprisonment and first-diploma conspiracy to commit house invasion in connection to the incident.
The incident happened at 7:15 p.m. on Oct. 23 at the Life span Conditioning place at 14843 Lakeside Blvd.
A 24-calendar year-old guy was kidnapped by quite a few armed, masked males in the parking large amount of the health and fitness center. A single suspect was arrested later on that very same day.
The Shelby Township Law enforcement Detective Bureau has been investigating the incident about the very last couple of months, which led to the identification of Pantoja, a 2nd suspect in the crime.
Pantoja was taken into custody with the assistance of the Tampa Bay Law enforcement Department, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office and the ATF Activity Drive.
On Tuesday, Jan. 9, he was arraigned and issued a $3 million funds-only/no 10% bond.
