MIAMI – A new contender is leaping into the race for Miami-Dade County Sheriff in 2024.
Florida Freeway Patrol Trooper Joe Sanchez declared Tuesday that he’s submitted to operate.
“As a longtime resident of Miami-Dade and a regulation enforcement skilled, I am fired up about this
option to provide the community that has supplied my family members and I so significantly,” mentioned Sanchez. “If elected, I

Sanchez reported in a statement that he’s stepping absent from the FHP while he strategies.
