MIAMI — A cargo plane properly landed at Miami Worldwide Airport late Thursday night soon after an engine malfunction occurred soon after takeoff.
In accordance to Atlas Air Around the world, the airline to which the airplane belonged to, landed safely and securely after dealing with an motor malfunction soon immediately after departure from MIA. Miami-Dade Aviation informed CBS News Miami that the airplane landed back again at the airport close to 11:03 p.m.
Video offered by ONLY in DADE showed the airplane flying in Miami airspace with what appeared to be a “trail of sparks” as it was descending.
Atlas Air informed CBS News Miami that the crew adopted all typical operating procedures to make absolutely sure the plane landed properly. In accordance to Miami-Dade Hearth Rescue, no person was wounded through the motor malfunction and nobody was transported to the healthcare facility.
“At Atlas, security is often a leading precedence and we will be conducting a comprehensive inspection to establish the trigger,” a spokesperson with the airline said.
