LAUDERHILL — A fireplace that broke out in a Broward County condominium early Friday morning is now below police investigation.
The fire occurred close to 3:30 a.m. in the space of Northwest 42nd Terrace around the Lauderhill Shopping mall. No accidents ended up noted but all the people were being evacuated.
Fireplace officials explained to CBS News Miami that the hearth started off from some burning home furniture observed in the hallway. Arson investigators have been referred to as out to the apartments for more investigation.
