MIAMI — South Florida will near out 2023 with a blast of dry, cold air that is predicted to get there on New Year’s Eve.
CBS Information Miami meteorologist Dave Warren reported the cooler air will appear from a breeze that will slide down the Florida peninsula towards the conclude of the weekend.
“The temperatures will be modifying more than the upcoming several days,” he said. “A chill in the air is envisioned.”

Friday will be mainly dry with superior temperatures envisioned to prime out in the reduced 70s ahead of dropping to the minimal- to mid-60s throughout the overnight.
The wind will come from the northwest as colder air arrives Sunday, dropping the mercury to the lower 50s. The high temperature on New Year’s Eve will leading out in the very low 70s ahead of plunging to the minimal- to mid-50s as 2023 presents way to 2024, Warren said.
“Sunday night into Monday early morning is when you get the cold air coming in,” he reported, adding that it will be generally dry and apparent skies
