PALM Seaside, Fla. — The driver of a tanker truck shed command of the car or truck prior to crashing on the Florida Turnpike early Friday in southeast Palm Beach front County, sending a fireball and plume of black smoke into the air.
The crash happened before 6 a.m. and prompted troopers with the Florida Highway Patrol to shut all lanes of the turnpike around Mile Marker 89 whilst they labored to clean up the fuel and very clear the wreckage.
The lanes had been shut for over two several hours, snarling the morning commute for motorists in the area.

WPEC-Tv described that the tanker truck was carrying at minimum 1,000 gallons of diesel and 7,500 gallons of gasoline at the time of the crash.
The tv station noted that crews erected a makeshift dam to collect the countless numbers of gallons of gasoline that spilled from the tanker truck.
Troopers stated the driver of the tanker truck was not damage in the course of the crash and no other automobiles were being included in the wreck.
