Florida lawmakers choose intention at crimson gentle cameras

TALLAHASSEE – Two Republican lawmakers want to ask voters to reduce condition and regional governments from employing purple-mild cameras.

Sen. Ileana Garcia, R-Miami, has filed a proposed constitutional modification that would ban the use of “targeted visitors infraction detectors.” Garcia’s proposal, which would have to have voter approval, would not utilize in school velocity zones.

Meanwhile, Rep. David Borrero, R-Sweetwater, has submitted a proposed constitutional modification that also would ban pink-light-weight cameras. The proposals are filed for thought throughout the 2024 legislative session, which will start off January 9th.
