HERSHEY, Pa. (CBS) — A Florida lady is upset about the deficiency of models on Reese’s holiday break-themed peanut butter candy – and now she’s taking parent corporation Hershey to courtroom in excess of it.
Cynthia Kelly submitted a federal course-action lawsuit Thursday in the U.S. District Court in the Middle District of Florida, alleging many Reese’s products and solutions you should not match their photos as depicted on the wrappers.
For illustration, Reese’s peanut butter pumpkins are simply pumpkin-shaped hunks of peanut-butter-stuffed chocolate, and the real item has no Jack O’lantern-fashion carvings as the wrapper depicts, Kelly alleges.
She says the same is correct for the peanut butter footballs and bats, as well as the white chocolate ghosts.
The fit claims Kelly purchased a bag of peanut butter pumpkins for $4.49 at an Aldi in Hillsborough County, Florida in late Oct 2023.

Kelly “considered that the products contained a lovable-hunting carving of a pumpkin’s mouth and eyes as pictured on the product or service packaging,” in accordance to the accommodate.

“Seems to be like eggs,” words on the photo say.

“Plaintiff and the customers of the Course have been aggrieved by Defendant’s unfair and misleading methods,” the fit reads. “They acquired the Goods with the affordable expectation that the Items would look identical to the pics exhibited on the Products’ packaging.”
