LAUDERHILL – Town Commissioner Denise D. Grant is under investigation by the Florida Section of Law Enforcement with regards to the code of ethics for general public officers, according to Lauderhill Town Lawyer Angel Rosenberg.
The metropolis lawyer confirmed the investigation but did not deliver further element to commissioners during a public conference called to go over a separate investigation into allegations against Grant.
Two months back, the city’s independent labor legal professional employed law firm Ria Chattergoon to examine a complaint from Grant regarding her conduct toward former fee aide Stephanie Crooks.
Chattergoon introduced the results of her report on Thursday. The investigator stated she interviewed 16 town workers “some fearful of retaliation” were not named.
