MIAMI – An investigation into an illicit romantic relationship involving a trainer and a 13-year-old feminine college student has led to rates towards a previous teacher at South Miami Middle School.
Authorities discovered that former teacher as 20-nine-year-previous Mauricio Alexander Ruiz.
Law enforcement said Ruiz befriended the target over her Instagram account and that the relationship escalated to video phone calls, sending of explicit photographs, and acquiring revenue by using Cashapp in trade for pics.
The target instructed law enforcement Ruiz experienced despatched her $50 in exchange for photographs.
The investigation led police to Ruiz’s recent spot of work at Thomas Jefferson Middle School in Miami, on Friday, December 8, in which he was arrested and put in handcuffs.
Ruiz was interviewed by detectives and verified he was the victim’s math teacher at West Miami Middle Faculty.
Bond was set at $7,500.
