MIAMI – Miami-Dade Police are appealing for the public’s assistance right after two young adults had been wounded in a weekend push-by capturing in Southwest Miami-Dade.
Police say the boys who are 14 and 15 decades previous were taken to HCA Florida Kendall Medical center in vital problem but police spokesman Detective Andre Martin suggests they are now in secure situation.
Authorities say the taking pictures transpired at 3:35 p.m. on Saturday as the youngsters ended up walking in the vicinity of S.W. 213th St. and 120th Ave. They took off jogging when they ended up shot at but collapsed close by as the shooter took off.
Law enforcement say they discovered more than a dozen shell casings. They say they have surveillance tape as quite a few of the properties in that neighborhood have ring cameras but they have not created an arrest however and do not have a description of a shooter or a motive in this circumstance.
CBS Information Miami’s Peter D’Oench spoke with family members users of the 14-year-aged boy but they did not want to say anything at all on digital camera.
Neighborhood activist Tangela Sears mentioned, “I am furious. I am offended. I am harm since I pray they make I but for the families to have to go as a result of this discomfort of one more senseless capturing in this community. It is very senseless. Gun violence just destroys the extremely gatherings of those who come together for the holidays.”
