A Florida man deliberately drove into two sheriff’s deputies on Thursday, poorly injuring them before a third deputy arrested him, authorities explained.
The Hillsborough County deputies had been answering a contact from a female who reported her adult son was acting irrationally and she was worried of him, Sheriff Chad Chronister stated at a information conference. The 28-calendar year-old gentleman was sitting down in a functioning vehicle outside the house his home in the Tampa suburb of Brandon and took off when the deputies tried out to make make contact with with him.
The driver returned a shorter time afterwards, sped up and rammed the deputies, pinning them against a patrol motor vehicle, the sheriff reported. The two experienced intense leg accidents but are predicted to survive.
