MIAMI – A group of migrants came ashore early Tuesday morning on Sunny Isles Seaside.

Miami-Dade Hearth Rescue reported all-around 2 a.m. they obtained a phone about a capsized vessel offshore near 163rd Avenue. When they arrived, they handled a few people today who stayed close to the boat which experienced beached on the shore. A person of people persons was taken to the clinic.

The Homeland Stability Undertaking Force 15 migrants ended up on the boat. The other 12 had been taken into custody by US Customs and Border Protection brokers.   

Marcelo Tuoni stated he was strolling on the beach when he saw a police auto trapped in the sand.

“We have been going for walks and we noticed the flashing lights. There had been other cop cars with turned off lights. So we requested some men and women what was heading on and they said ‘I do not know, I do not know, there’s a bunch of cops’. So we started off walking that way and eventually, we observed a trapped law enforcement vehicle and were just seeking to support them. So we observed the boat, and DHS and HSI had been all above and they didn’t want to tell us what was likely on but it was kind of evident,” reported Tuoni. 

Federal authorities did not where by the migrants ended up from.
